The series of works that followed, are part of the research THE CUT – An intervention in the Body. The works depart from the crossings that led the artist to the cuung table for placement and subsequent removal of silicone prostheses in the breasts. Using midias such as photography, painting, video, installation and performance, the silicone prosthesis has its protagonism, sometimes as an object, now covered by the skin that covers it. The look on the chest gains different nuances to think about affects, crossings and what is beautiful today. The paper discusses the different relations of the breast, in the feminine, in the relations of gender, in contemporary women, assuming that every body is a carrier of culture and singularity.
